Happy birthday Boomer! Somehow you just keep getting even older!
Thank you for being the best Dad I could ever ask for. Here are 3 things I love about you!
1: You always want the best for me
In every conversation I have with you, you always try to convince me of what you think is best for me.
The way that has shaped my decisions has allowed my to become the person I am, so thank you for that.
Even though sometimes what you think is best is wrong, the fact that you wrote a multiple-page book on how you wanted me to stay in school shows how much you care about me, which I cannot over-appreciate.
2: You go out of your way for me to have the best
You did not have to do all of the hard work of setting up all of my amazing birthdays as a kid.
You did not have any obligation to drive so many hours and sacrifice so much free time to come to all of my sports games when I was a teenager.
You did not have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to send me to Rundle in high school.
You did not have to send me across the country to go to University when I turned 18.
And you do not have to make my favourite yogurt for me now that I'm a grown man!
But you always make sure that I have the best, and that's what I love about you.
